About

Before launching his solo career, Rainer Scheurenbrand was well known as a classical player, having studied chamber music and classical guitar at the University for Music in Hannover, Germany.

Rainer recorded two albums with Greek singer Theodora Baka that won various awards in the classical world, and they toured that material in Europe, Russia, Israel, and the United States.

That was the beginning of finding his own voice, the expressions of his soul.

His artistry subsequently ignited a profound investigation into the mystery of life. His search took him to Brazil, where he lived for two years, fully immersed in the culture and music.

In 2006, Rainer recorded his first solo album, Jardim, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In the years that followed, Rainer kept traveling, letting his music and his curiosity guide his path.

Along the way, Rainer has also performed across Europe, North America, and South America.

At present, Rainer has released five studio albums. Jardim, Viento Bueno, Diosana, It’s a Boonie, and his latest creation De mi Selva have all been well-received by audiences around the world.

Rainer’s music reflects his own quest for personal healing. It expresses his connection to nature and the Great Mystery.

Some call it healing music. Some call it medicine music. Brilliant harmonies, virtuoso guitar playing, and melodies of pure beauty inspire the heart.

Whatever name you give it and wherever it comes from, this music gives strength and support to the many listeners it touches around the planet.
